Every Remote ID declaration the FAA has accepted, 477 in all, as of September 26, 2026. Search by brand, model, or the FCC ID printed on the aircraft.
The short version
Any drone that must be registered must also meet the Remote ID rule. The FAA gives three ways to do it: fly a Standard Remote ID drone, attach a Remote ID broadcast module and keep the drone in sight, or fly without Remote ID inside a FAA-Recognized Identification Area.
A drone under 250 g flown only for recreation does not need to be registered, so it does not need Remote ID. Under Part 107 every drone is registered, so weight does not matter there.

DJI says Remote ID is activated only when the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus is used, and then cannot be turned off. With the standard battery it does not broadcast.

DJI's per-model table says the Mini 4K and Mini 2 SE are not provided with Remote ID. A summary answer on the same DJI page lists the Mini 4K as supporting it, but no FAA declaration exists, which matches the table.

Common questions
How do I know if my drone has Remote ID?
Search for it on the FAA's list of accepted Remote ID declarations of compliance, which this page mirrors as of September 26, 2026. A drone on that list is a Standard Remote ID drone and broadcasts on its own, though some models need a firmware update first. A drone that is not on the list does not have Standard Remote ID.
Do drones under 250 grams need Remote ID?
Not when flown only for recreation. The FAA says drones must be registered unless they weigh 0.55 pounds (250 grams) or less and are flown under the exception for limited recreational operations, and that drones which are required to be registered must comply with Remote ID. Under Part 107 every drone must be registered, so a sub-250 g drone flown commercially needs Remote ID.
What if my drone is not on the list?
You have two other ways to comply. Attach an FAA-accepted Remote ID broadcast module, in which case you must keep the drone in sight for the whole flight, or fly without Remote ID inside a FAA-Recognized Identification Area, also within visual line of sight.
Why does my DJI Mini only broadcast with the Plus battery?
Because the Plus battery takes it over 250 g. DJI says the Mini 4 Pro and Mini 3 turn Remote ID on automatically with the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus and that it cannot be turned off; with the standard battery they stay under the threshold and do not broadcast. The Mini 3 Pro broadcasts with either battery.
