A video system is a chain, not a camera spec

Choose the receiving hardware and mission first. Then lock the aircraft camera, transmitter, firmware branch, voltage rail, physical mount, and cooling plan to it.

Choose the receiver path before the camera

A camera, VTX, goggles, firmware branch, voltage rail, and frame mount form one system. “Digital” and “5.8 GHz” are not compatibility standards.

Firmware line
Use current DJI support and a supported Betaflight or INAV integration. DJI lists Betaflight 4.3+ for O4.

Decision rule

Choose it when onboard image quality and recording modes justify the extra size, weight, cooling, and frame-specific camera mount.

Compatibility boundary

Published range and latency are controlled test figures, not practical flight permissions or field guarantees. VLOS, airspace, and RF conditions still control the operation.
