The Atom records 4K/30 video on a three-axis mechanical gimbal and uses a conventional controller and GPS flight workflow. That makes it better suited to planned aerial moves, horizon control, landscapes, and repeatable framing than a palm-launch selfie aircraft.

The Atom SE is a different product with single-axis stabilization. Buyers comparing listings should confirm they are looking at the three-axis Atom, not the cheaper Atom SE.
