The free Part 107 study hub

Everything you need to pass the FAA Remote Pilot exam, broken into five modules by Airman Certification Standards (ACS) domain. Read, drill the flashcards, take the mini-quiz, then prove it on the full practice exam. Most candidates pass with 15–20 focused study hours.

Original study material, current as of June 2026 and sourced from the FAA. Educational, not legal advice. Always verify current rules at faa.gov/uas.

The five study modules

Each module stands alone; start anywhere, but the order below tracks the recommended study plan.

Your study plan

A six-step path through the hub. Tackle them in order for the smoothest ramp to a passing score.

  • Read the Regulations module and drill the flashcards until the numbers are automatic.
  • Work the Airspace & Charts module twice; it is the highest-yield, highest-pain topic.
  • Cover Weather, then Loading & Performance (shorter, mostly common-sense once you know the codes).
  • Finish with Operations & ADM and the hazardous-attitude antidotes.
  • Listen to the matching podcast episode on commutes to reinforce each module.
  • Take the full practice exam. When you're consistently above 80%, register for the real test.
