- Can a follow drone fly itself legally?
- Automation does not remove the operator's responsibilities. The operation still needs an eligible pilot, visual line of sight, compliant airspace, a legal launch point, and control over the aircraft.
- Can a follow camera track me beside a road?
- That can create people, moving-vehicle, distraction, recovery, and local launch issues. A planned route away from traffic is the safer default, and the operator must evaluate the exact operation rather than relying on the tracking mode.
- Are propeller guards obstacle avoidance?
- No. Guards can reduce some contact risk, but they do not make branches, wires, people, or confined spaces safe. They also change weight, drag, flight time, and handling.
