Joel founded and edits Drone Authority. He is an FAA-certificated remote pilot under Part 107 and flies his own aircraft. He runs the news desk from the primary record: FAA and FCC filings, the Federal Register, court dockets, and state statutes. He also directs the site's free Part 107 training, product coverage, and corrections.
Joel Kelly is a designer and developer based in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. He spent fifteen years in brand, product, and web design, including five shaping Dyson's digital presence across North America. He now runs Tosa Marketing, building custom websites for southeast Wisconsin businesses, and operates the Authority Suite network of independent review sites.
