BETAFPV beta-tests a 4.60 g P1 HD flight controller for 1S whoops
The $69.99 integrated board and $74.99 nano goggle receiver are both sold out. Firmware matching, heat, and a camera-glare issue remain part of the beta.

What is new
The flight controller, receiver, ESC, and HD video now share one 1S board.
BETAFPV is beta-testing the Matrix 1S AIO P1 HD flight controller. The 4.60 g board combines an STM32G473 flight controller, 12A continuous ESC, serial ExpressLRS 2.4 GHz receiver, and P1 digital video transmitter. The company lists it at $69.99, but says the beta samples are sold out and existing orders will ship before a final version is released.
The matching camera adds 1.34 g. BETAFPV lists a 1080p feed at 60 frames per second, about 60 milliseconds of latency, and 200 mW transmission power. Those are manufacturer specifications from beta hardware, not independent flight-test results.
Use your current goggles
The nano receiver is the bridge, but it is beta hardware too.
BETAFPV is also testing a $74.99 P1 HD VRX Nano for compatible Fat Shark and SKYZONE goggles. Its beta samples are sold out too. That receiver lets some pilots keep their existing goggles instead of buying a complete P1 headset, but compatibility still depends on the exact goggle version and matched firmware.
Beta limits
Firmware matching, heat, and camera glare still need attention.
An August 26 support note tells testers to update the ground station and air unit to version 2.1.2 before using them together. The Matrix product page says boards arrive with air-unit firmware 2.1.1. It also warns that the camera can show red glare under some lighting and says not to leave a whoop powered without airflow because the video transmitter creates extra heat.
The useful idea is integration: fewer separate boards and less wiring in a weight-sensitive 1S build. The unanswered questions are final hardware, stock, image quality outside BETAFPV's own examples, thermal behavior, and whether the P1 ecosystem remains compatible across future firmware. Pilots who do not want to manage beta hardware should wait for the final board and receiver.
