How this Part 107 practice test works
The FAA testing matrix defines the Unmanned Aircraft General exam and this simulator mirrors it. FAA guidance says unscored validation questions may also be included without affecting the final score, so the simulator mixes in five validation-style prompts unlabelled, the way you would meet them at a PSI center. It draws from 282 original questions and reshuffles every set.

What is covered on the Part 107 exam?
The FAA UAG knowledge test covers five scored domains. Regulations and Operations account for nearly three quarters of the scored blueprint, while Airspace and Charts supplies the visual interpretation questions that often consume the most time.

What should you do with a practice score?
A single 70% pass is the legal threshold, not a comfortable readiness margin. Aim to score at least 80% on multiple shuffled runs and explain why each missed choice is wrong. That reduces the chance that one familiar question set is carrying the result.
If a domain is weak, switch to its focused lesson instead of immediately restarting the full exam. Use the sectional chart lab for visual misses, the flashcards for recall, and the AKTR decoder if you are preparing for a retake. Once you are passing consistently, the certification guide covers eligibility, IACRA, your FAA Tracking Number, PSI scheduling, test day, TSA vetting, and the temporary certificate. What score do I need to pass the FAA Part 107 exam?
You must answer at least 70% of the 60 questions correctly, so you need 42 correct answers. The FAA says unscored validation questions may also appear without counting toward your result. This simulator includes five so they feel normal if you encounter them.
Are these the real FAA Part 107 test questions?
No. These are original questions written by Drone Authority to mirror the current FAA UAG testing blueprint and the decisions the exam requires. Active FAA questions are not public.
