Egypt has no verified casual tourist flight path. Obtain Ministry of Defense approval and complete the ECAA authorization process before bringing or operating a drone.

Bring it

ECAA instructs people bringing a drone from abroad for personal use to contact the Ministry of Defense first and, after approval, apply through the Ministry of Civil Aviation customer-service process.

Register it

Use the current Part 106 and ECAA permit process. Egypt does not publish a registration-only tourist route.

Fly it

ECAR Part 106 applies to non-commercial as well as commercial civil RPAS operations. National-security clearance is a condition precedent to flight; no self-authorizing recreational route is published.
