DJI availability note

A great specification is not the same as a low-risk U.S. purchase.

Some newer DJI aircraft were never added to DJI's official U.S. store, while older stock can be finite. We keep those models visible for comparison, but label the sourcing and support risk directly.

Aircraft to operation

Before first launch

Buying the aircraft is one decision. Use this sequence to get from the box to a deliberate, legal first flight.

Aircraft under consideration

Any aircraft you choose

19 aircraft, each with a listed weight and use case

  1. 01

    Aircraft status

    Set the registration path

Use the weight line on each of the 19 aircraft in the catalog, then answer for the way you will fly. Part 107 registration applies to every aircraft, including sub-250 g models.

    Check registration
  2. 02

    Launch location

    Check the exact airspace

The aircraft does not decide whether a location is clear. Check the launch point, planned altitude, date, and time for controlled airspace, restrictions, and local launch rules.

    Start the airspace check
  3. 03

    Only when it is work

    Conditional

    Decide whether Part 107 applies

A small drone does not create a business-use exception. If the flight serves a client, employer, listing, monetized project, or another non-recreational purpose, check the Part 107 path first.

    Check commercial requirements
