ANAC Brazil / DECEA
Brazil
Permit path requiredANAC registration plus DECEA airspace access
Brazil has a real paperwork path. Plan for ANAC registration, DECEA/SARPAS airspace authorization, radio compliance, and a rule transition beginning July 1, 2026.
Bring it
Bring proof of ownership and expect extra scrutiny for professional payloads. Re-check DECEA ICA 100-40/2026 for trips after July 1, 2026.
Register it
Use ANAC/SISANT-style registration where required, DECEA SARPAS for airspace, and ANATEL radio-equipment requirements where applicable.
Fly it
Recreational/model-aircraft users still need to follow ANAC and DECEA rules; registration can apply over 250 g and SARPAS may be needed for airspace.
Map check
SARPAS is the official airspace authorization system; AISWEB and DECEA publications provide aeronautical information.
Before you travel
- 01Check ANAC registration and RBAC 100 category requirements.
- 02Request airspace access through SARPAS where required.
- 03Check DECEA ICA 100-40/2026 for trips on or after July 1, 2026.
- 04Get local permissions for beaches, events, parks, private sites, and people-overflight.
Operating notes
- Max altitude
- Open-category operations generally use 120 m / 400 ft AGL; DECEA rules can impose lower ceilings or authorizations by location.
- Recreational
- Recreational/model-aircraft users still need to follow ANAC and DECEA rules; registration can apply over 250 g and SARPAS may be needed for airspace.
- Commercial work
- Commercial open-category work can fit RBAC 100 only if it stays within limits. Specific/certified operations need ANAC authorization, risk documentation, insurance where required, and DECEA approval.
- Airspace
- SARPAS is the official airspace authorization system; AISWEB and DECEA publications provide aeronautical information.
